Terms & Conditions for bidding with Bidsonline

These terms and conditions may be changed from time to time. They are displayed for you to read when you register and each time you log in to Bidsonline. When you log in you are asked to accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the relevant clauses. Any changes to terms and conditions since 1st April 2009 are listed below:
  Auctions are conducted in Australian dollars and are payable in Australian dollars. No bid in any other currency can be accepted. All credit cards will be charged in Australian dollars. Bidders outside of Australia will be charged in Australian dollars. A buyers premium may be applied to the winning bid. Each auction will clearly state the amount of buyers premium that will be applied. Any price guides are the current recommended or suggested retail price. Images of all new items and products used for demonstration are representative of the product and not the actual item. Images of used items are of the actual item unless otherwise stated.
  Bidders must be able to use a debit or credit card acceptable to Bidsonline and sufficient credit must be available to cover the cost of any bid and freight charges. Where a winning bid is over $2,000 a deposit of 10% or $500, whichever is less, will charged to the bidder’s credit card. The balance of the bid amount is to be paid by electronic funds transfer prior to goods being despatched or picked up.

Bidsonline accepts only Mastercard and Visa. American Express and Diners club cards are not acceptable
  By entering a bid you are making a legal offer to purchase an item. Where the goods are not as described you will be entitled to a refund provided that you contact us within 14 days of taking delivery. We will then arrange for the goods to be collected and your credit card will credited with the original amount charged. This money back guarantee only applies to goods delivered and not picked up from our premises or our vendor's premises

The placement of a bid is legally binding and may not be withdrawn by the bidder after it is placed. Bidsonline will not under any circumstances be obliged to waive, or accept a request to waive, a bid.

By placing a bid, the bidder accepts the terms and conditions imposed by these auction rules. If the bidder is a winning bidder then the bidder accepts an obligation to pay a sum equal to his winning bid together with the stated cost of freight.
  Bidsonline reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend or withdraw any item or auction at any time. Where possible Bidsonline will endeavour to inform bidders.

Bidsonline will take all reasonable steps to receive and process any bids. Bidsonline cannot guarantee and is not liable if any bid fails to be accepted as a result of a technical error

Bidsonline reserves the right to suspend or terminate a bidders participation in an auction and in future auctions, This will occur if a bidder: unreasonably refuses to accept delivery of goods or payment, attempts to manipulate the auction, commits fraud or bids on behalf of a bidder.
  Bidsonline or it’s vendors may set a reserve price. Winning bids must always be higher or equal to the reserve. A vendor of Bidsonline may accept a bid lower than the reserve at its discretion.

Any price guides, bids and invoices include GST. A tax invoice will issued to all winning bidders.
  Bidders must not use any device, software or routine to interfere with the Bidsonline web site.

All intellectual property rights including copyright and trademarks relating to Bidsonline auctions and services are owned by Bidsonline and may not be used without the written consent of Bidsonline.

These auction rules constitute an agreement between a bidder and Bidsonline. This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
  We will from time to time send you emails listing forthcoming auctions and other information that we believe may be of interest to you. You may at any time have your email address removed from our email list either by selecting the 'unsubscribe link' on any email or by contacting us. Please note that if you 'unsubscribe' from our email list you still retain your bidder registration with Bidsonline.
